Jervis Bay is two and a half hours south of Sydney (via Princes Hwy) or three and a half hours from Canberra (via Batemans Bay or Moss Vale). Trains run between Sydney and Nowra, which is just half an hour North of Jervis Bay.

Local Amenities
Paraway is located in a secluded part of Vincentia, one of the main townships in the Jervis Bay area. Vincentia has a shopping centre which includes a major supermarket, butcher, bottle shop, travel agent and a take away store. There are also restaurants and a hotel (bar) within the township. In nearby Huskisson there are more restaurants and hotel bar.

Local Attractions
Water sports and related activities, (swimming, snorkelling, windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving) dominate the agendas of those visiting Jervis Bay in the summer. All year around there are other activities, including fishing trips, whale watching, wineries and more.
